About Us
our focus
Supporting Northern Front-Line Workers

Mental Health
The Regional EMS Foundation is proud to promote the education and accessibility of mental health resources to first responders in our community.

Wellness
Through our programming, we work to promote wellness and healthcare in our community.

Education
From scholarships to programs, our mission is to educate our community so that everyone is comfortable using an AED and has the knowledge to save a life.
Our Story
In 2000 the Regional EMS Foundation became a registered Charity through CRA. The first initiative of the Foundation was born after Randy and Debby Waldron lost their son Shawn due to sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 19, and they began their quest to place AED’s in public areas.
